Software Engineer

I've spent the last four-plus years building software that has to work beyond the happy path — from e-commerce APIs to high-traffic ticketing systems. Most of my work lives in the backend, where performance, data consistency, and reliability matter more than writing code for its own sake. I like solving the problems that appear after software is already in the real world: finding why a query is slow, making an old system easier to change, keeping a booking consistent under pressure, or building an API others can trust. That is the kind of engineering I want to keep doing.

I enjoy the engineering work behind reliable products: making slow queries faster, cleaning up legacy code, keeping bookings consistent under concurrency, and building APIs other systems can depend on. I also work across the stack when a product needs it, with React, Next.js, Docker and modern web tooling.
